SPECULATION A PROFITABLE PROFESSION, A Course of Instruction on Grains by W.D. Gann (This content is also know as, “The WD Gann Master Commodity Course: Original Commodity Market Trading Course”)

Alanpuri Trading, Los Angeles, 2016, softcover, reprint, an exact facsimile of the original W.D. Gann course material, 218pp.

In order to preserve the authenticity of Gann’s work, This Master Commodities course is an exact facsimile of W.D. Gann’s unabridged original lessons and supplements written between 1931 and 1956 on the subject. The majority of the course work was written between 1949 to 1956, some of the supplemental charts and tables date back as far as 1931.

Throughout his teachings, Gann did not publish a singular Master Stock Course, or a singular Master Commodities Course. As his techniques progressed, he published a string of lessons, with many taking the form of letters to students. The lessons spanned from 1931 until his death in 1955. These were separate from his Annual Forecasts in the 1920s. This method of publishing (letters) was fairly common during that era, and Gann compiled many of these lessons into courses that he subsequently marketed in the 1940s and 1950s. The appearance of a singular Stock Market Course and a singular Commodities Course is something that has evolved since the 1970s after Billy Jones purchased Lambert Gann Publishing Co. in 1976 and began to craft advanced course-work based on Gann’s original documents from his Pomeroy, WA headquarters.
