Contents: (from the Introduction) This brochure is prepared for all who use the Commodity Futures Markets. Primarily it is a compilation of principles which were originally prepared for my own use, to be reviewed periodically. Many of the principles set forth in this brochure are garnered from years of experience and from a study of the reports of government agencies which have investigated commodity trading from time to time.
If you are an experienced Commodity Trader it is for you because it will refresh your recollection and remind you to avoid some of the errors which have caused you losses in the past. If you are a newcomer to this business of commodity speculation, it is particularly for you because it will bring to you in concentrated form, the results of years of experience of many traders, their failures and their successes, from which these basic principles evolved.
The text consists of a list of common errors which should be avoided, then a tabulation of Basic Principles, each of which is later fully supported by comments and charts which clearly explain each stated principle.
