This text has met with an enthusiastic response as indicated by the substantial percentage of readers who have been good enough to write us letters of commendation. The current edition has been completely revised. Much of the earlier material required no alteration and it has been left substantially intact. A considerable amount of new material has been added, however, for purposes of clarification and to bring the technique up to date.
